Remote monitoring portal enables users to get live information easily on PV systems
ABB’s remote monitoring portal is a web-based tool for monitoring and analyzing the performance of ABB solar inverters in photovoltaic (PV) power plants. It is especially suitable for the monitoring of medium-sized PV systems in commercial and industrial building up to megawatt sized larger power plants.
The tool is intended for system integrators and EPC companies to monitor the plant performance and thus secure the return of investment for their customers. They can see from one centralized tool their complete installed base of ABB solar inverters and provide less detailed views and reports on their projects.
Remote monitoring portal also gives easy access to fault and warning data. It is possible to set up the portal to send automatic email or SMS notifications in the case of failure, including the loss of connection.
