Peter Leupp is Head of Power Systems Division worldwide and is also a Member of the Group Executive Committee of ABB. He has about 29 years of experience in ABB.
Peter graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich with an Electrical Engineering degree. Barring a short stint for a year at Technochemie in 1988 -89 as CEO, he has worked in ABB from 1977 till date. He began in the High Voltage Development Division in Switzerland and in 1995 he was President of the same division. From 2001 to 2006 he worked in ABB China as Chairman and President. After a year’s responsibility in 2005 – 2006 as Region Manager North Asia, he assumed his current role. Peter Leupp is a Swiss national.
