The Global Trainee Program for Energy Futures lasts for 18 months, which allows insight into three different areas of business. Because of its global nature this trainee program allows you to work in a minimum of two countries (including the headquarters in Switzerland) and experience both diverse work cultures and job assignments.
The rotations are of six months each; possibilities include:
- Help develop ABB’s strategy for the new vertical businesses in wind, smart grids, water, rail and solar
- Work in a specific product or technology area, e.g. High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC)
- Work on developing ABB’s new energy efficiency consulting business
- Customer-facing sales experience in strategic account management (real sales experience - worldwide)
- Strategy work - addressing future business opportunities
After successful completion of the program, our intention is to offer you a permanent position in one of our organizations around the globe.
